Support for students with disabilities in Switzerland
It is not always easy to leave one’s country, its education system and the familiar setting to study abroad for a semestre, a year or even the whole duration of your studies. It is an adventurous thing to do ! Therefore it is important to collect information and to take into account all possibilities early, ideally one year before beginning your studies.
At higher education level the swiss education system proposes a great number of interesting curicula for which the conditions can vary greatly. Differences also exist for people with disabilities depending on the institution.
How to procede:
- Please read this page and also the information contained in the indicated links. For a summary of the information, go to:http://www.crus.ch/information-programme/study-in-switzerland.html?l=3&l=2
- Then search the database for the field in which you would like to study.
- Contact the institutions which you are considering for your studies, especially the Office for foreign students and if necessary the person in charge of students with disabilities.
- If you have any further questions, the HEAG representative for Switzerland will be very pleased to help you.
