This software is used by student support units in schools, colleges and universities across the UK to take a diagnostic look at study strengths and weaknesses including dyslexia.

QuickScan is also being trialled in the prison service as a screener for dyslexia.

The StudyScan Suite was developed, initially, for Higher Education as a result of research carried out in an HEFCE project
in the early 1990's. It is now used right down to sixth-form level in schools. The QuickScan Screener has even been used
successfully with younger agegroups.

The StudyScan Suite

The StudyScan Suite consists of the following programmes:

QuickScan - a short computer administered self reporting questionnaire to identify students' preferred learning styles, study skills needs, possible requirement for language support and whether they may be dyslexic.

StudyScan - a computerised battery of tests developed to provide
analysis of students' study strengths and weaknesses including diagnostic assessment for dyslexia.

StatScan - a utility to display results, allow for tutor input and produce reports.
Support Provided:
Extensive e-mail and telephone technical support and user advice.
The programme is frequently also the subject of development seminars at universities and colleges.
