Inclusive Education in Action - project website now live
The Inclusive Education in Action (IEA) project is a collaboration between UNESCO and the Agency.
The IEA project website is now available here.
On this website you will find examples of policies, accounts of practice, stories, videos and more. All of these materials exemplify the suggested actions in the UNESCO Policy Guidelines on Inclusion in Education and show how people all over the world are working to strengthen the focus on inclusion in education which is recognised as a basic human right and the foundation for a more just and equal society.
The examples on the IEA website relate to the following broad areas of practice: inclusive policy development; inclusion through early childhood care and education; inclusive curricula; teachers and teacher education; resources and legislation to support inclusion.
Possible examples are now being collected. The examples may include policy statements, descriptions and evaluations of policy developments, case study accounts or personal ‘stories’. The supporting material may include videos and photographs as well as written documents.
