Welcoming the new Chair of the Agency

The European Agency for Development in Special Needs Education is pleased and proud to announce that as of 1 February 2011, the new Chair of the Agency is Mr. Per Ch Gunnvall from Sweden.

Per Ch Gunnvall graduated as a teacher and later gained a position at the Swedish National Board of Education, first as an adviser and later on as Head of a Department. In 1991 he became Deputy Director General and one of the leaders of the National Swedish Agency for Special Education with responsibility for the development and production of educational materials for children with learning difficulties. Per Ch Gunnvall has extensive international experience and amongst other assignments has worked as a consultant for the Nordic Council of Ministers. 

The new Chair is well known within the Agency as he was the Swedish member of the Agency’s Representative Board from 2001-2007 and on the Management Board of the Agency from 2004-2006.
