Proceedings of the International Conference organized by the European Agency for Development in Special Needs Education Brussels, 25-26 October 2001.

This conference proceedings collect together in one publication the papers presented by the speakers contributing to the two day event. Following an introduction describing the work of the Agency, papers are grouped into three main sections: the keynote presentations by invited guest speakers; presentations on the thematic work areas of the Agency; and a final section focusing on presentations which give an overall European perspective on special needs education.

The conference and this on-line publication were directly supported by the European CommissionDG Education and Culture.
