Welcome to the web area for the Agency Assessment in Inclusive settings project.

The project began in 2005, with 23 Agency member and observer countries participating in phase 1 of project activities. The overall goal for this phase was to examine how assessment policy and practice can support effective decision-making about teaching and learning approaches, methods and steps in the best possible ways.

The aims of the project were:
- To develop a knowledge base looking at assessment policies and practice in the participating countries;
- To examine innovative examples of effective assessment policy and practice and highlight recommendations and guidelines for assessment in inclusive settings.

This web area presents the results and materials developed during the project activities, including presentations of examples of innovative practice from project experts, a review of literature from non-European countries and country reports of assessment policy and practice in the participating countries.

Please note all downloads will open in a new browser window.
