Capacity refers to the skills, knowledge and competences of individuals, groups and organisations to be effective in educational settings. Building capacity refers to increasing the knowledge, skills and other qualities of all education professionals, including leaders, teachers and specialist staff, and enhancing collaborative practices within schools and across local communities.
