A multi-disciplinary team is a group of professionals from different specialisms (such as education, psychology, health, and social services) who work collaboratively within inclusive education settings. The teams may include professionals from other schools, further education and training providers, local businesses/employers, etc. A multi-disciplinary team may perform various tasks, such as developing comprehensive, co-ordinated and effective support plans tailored to individual needs and supporting school leaders with decision-making and strategic planning.
