EASNIE has released the latest edition of its European Agency Statistics on Inclusive Education (EASIE) Cross-Country Report, covering the 2022/2023 school year.
EASIE data provides valuable insights into education systems in participating countries across Europe. The findings are designed to inform both national and European-level policy by collecting information on learners’ participation in inclusive education.
This year’s data collection marks a milestone, with a record 35 countries contributing data. The Cross-Country Report brings together the indicators that are calculated from the data and summarises them in tables and bar charts. These indicators focus on two main areas:
-
All children/learners and where they are educated
-
Children/learners with an official decision of special educational needs and where they are educated.
Data is organised according to the International Standard Classification of Education (ISCED) levels, from pre-primary (ISCED 02) through to upper-secondary (ISCED 3). Where possible, the data is also broken down by gender.
The 2022/2023 School Year Dataset Cross‑Country Report is available to download on the EASNIE website. For more details on EASNIE’s data collection work, visit the EASIE web area.
