Cross-sector collaboration

Cross-sector collaboration refers to the co-ordinated efforts of different sectors and stakeholders, including education, health, social services, youth work, employment, and community organisations, working together to support inclusive education and improve educational outcomes for all learners. This type of collaboration requires both horizontal co-ordination (across different sectors and services) and vertical co-ordination (across different levels of government, such as national, regional, and local authorities).

See the Cross-Sector Collaboration and Governance in Inclusive Education Systems background paper for further information.
