The Raising the Achievement of All Learners in Inclusive Education (RA) project (2014–2017) aimed to provide evidence of effective practice in raising achievement by building the capacity of schools and communities to include and support all learners.
In the framework of the IECE project, countries were asked to identify and describe innovative examples of inclusive practice in early childhood education (ECE) at national level. The Financing of Inclusive Education Background Information Report examines key EU-level policy documents and statements on funding of education. It considers work from the European Commission, as well as other international organisations, such as the OECD, UNESCO and its institutes, UNICEF, etc. The report takes account of research on general and special education financing models, as well as those specific to inclusive education. It also incorporates relevant research literature provided by participating countries.
The rights of all children to develop to their full potential and to participate without barriers in all aspects of society constituted the overarching theme of the ‘Children’s Rights and Early Intervention’ international conference attended by Agency representatives on 8–10 June 2016. Approximately 700 participants from 55 countries took part in this event in Stockholm organized by the International Society on Early Intervention (ISEI) in conjunction with the Stockholm University.
On 16 October 2015, the Luxembourg Presidency of the Council of the European Union hosted the Agency’s fourth Hearing, entitled ‘Inclusive Education – Take Action!’. Seventy-two young people from across Europe, both with and without special educational needs and/or disabilities, had the opportunity to discuss how their schools and communities ensure inclusive education for them.

Making Your Organisation's Information Accessible For All is an additional output of the ICT for Information Accessibility in Learning (ICT4IAL) project, aimed at organisations. This report can be used in conjunction with the Guidelines for Accessible Information. It builds on lessons learned during the trialling of the Guidelines in three partner organisations.
The Guidelines for Accessible Information were developed by the ICT for Information Accessibility in Learning (ICT4IAL) project, which was a multi-disciplinary network of European and international partners representing both learning and ICT communities.
In 2015, the Agency worked on behalf of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) to provide a suite of materials on empowering teachers. The results of this work have been summarised in three documents: a literature review, a case study and a methodology overview.
