Accessible Information for Lifelong Learning (i-access) Recommendations flyers
The one-year Accessible Information for Lifelong Learning (i-access) project aimed to raise awareness of the issues surrounding accessible information provision for lifelong learning in order to facilitate positive developments. The collective results of the i-access project led to guiding principles and key areas for recommendations to support accessible information provision for lifelong learning agreed at the European level by the key stakeholders in the field.
Recommendations for Promoting Accessible Information for Lifelong Learning
The Recommendations for Promoting Accessible Information for Lifelong Learning draw from a range of information sources collected and analysed throughout the i-access project activities, including:
Raising Achievement for All Learners – Quality in Inclusive Education
The RA4AL project aims to address the ways in which inclusive policy and practice can raise the achievement of all learners.
Mapping the Implementation of Policy for Inclusive Education – An Exploration of Challenges and Opportunities for Developing Indicators
All countries need to track the implementation of new educational policies and legislation. The justifications and pressures for mapping such developments are very clear at international, European and national levels.

Country Data Collection Work
One of the key activities for the MIPIE project has been to collect overview information on data collection work already going on in participating countries. In particular, it was agreed to collect information from countries in line with the data collection priorities highlighted by policy makers in the Brussels conference:
Mapping the Implementation of Policy for Inclusive Education
Policy-makers working in inclusive education need to know what qualitative and quantitative information to collect and the best methods of doing this in order to map the implementation of policies for inclusive education. The goal for the MIPIE project is to provide them with clear proposals on agreed signposts to track progress towards educational inclusion.
Accessible Information Provision for Lifelong Learning
This project set out to use existing European and international policy and standards for information accessibility as a basis for discussing the implications, as well as the practical implementation of accessible information provision within lifelong learning.
