TSI - Shaping Inclusive Education: Combatting Disparities in Italy, Portugal and Spain
The objective of the 'Combatting Disparities in Access to Inclusive Education in Italy, Portugal and Spain’ project (2022–2024) was to support the Portuguese Ministry of Education, the Italian Ministry of Education and Merit and the Spanish Ministry of Education, Vocational Training and Sport in their efforts to improve inclusive education systems and practices. Its goal was to promote equal access and combat regional disparities in implementing inclusive education provisions across the three countries.
This project is funded by the European Union via the Technical Support Instrument and implemented by the European Agency for Special Needs and Inclusive Education, in co-operation with the European Commission.

eBulletin September 2013
This eBulletin presents news on the work towards developing guidelines for the use of ICT in learning (in the framework of the ICT for Information Accessibility in Learning project). It also presents updates on the Organisation of Provision to Support Inclusive Education project, and a call for further examples of inclusive education ‘in action’ (IEA project). On 18 November 2013 the Agency will host the ‘Inclusive Education in Europe’ conference, presenting past and future Agency work. Finally, the Agency has published a call for tender for printing services. Information on this call is available in this bulletin and also on the Agency website.

Fostering Inclusive Quality Education in Finland and Ireland
A kick-off event took place on 18 January in Dublin, Ireland, to officially start the Fostering Inclusive Quality Education in Finland and Ireland project.
Making the most of financial and human resources for inclusive education
Dr Simoni Symeonidou of the University of Cyprus outlines the financial and human resource allocation methods used in education systems and highlights those that are relevant to inclusive education. She explores the resource allocation approaches used in Finland and Ireland and recommends ways to further promote inclusive education in both countries.
This presentation is from a webinar on ‘Effective strategies for resource allocation and use at school and regional levels’. The webinar is part of the ‘Fostering Inclusive Quality Education in Finland and Ireland’ project, funded by the European Union through the Technical Support Instrument and carried out by EASNIE in co-operation with the European Commission’s Reform and Investment Task Force (SG REFORM).
