Teacher Professional Learning for Inclusion: Phase 1 Final Summary Report

Phase 1 of the Teacher Professional Learning for Inclusion (TPL4I) project focused on policies that affect teacher professional learning (TPL) for inclusion. It aimed to identify the essential policy elements to ensure that all teachers are prepared for inclusive education. This report presents all TPL4I phase 1 activities and findings.
 
The report sets out the elements of a policy framework for TPL for inclusion. It describes trends and key issues in TPL for inclusion policies across 26 European countries within those policy elements. The report relates the findings to previous Agency work, embedding it in a comprehensive systems approach. Finally, it suggests a broader use of the Profile of Inclusive Teachers, which phase 2 of TPL4I will explore.
