We carry out activities involving our extensive network in Agency member countries. We aim to provide member countries and stakeholders at the European level with evidence-based information and guidance on implementing inclusive education systems.

The Agency has 31 member countries, covering 36 jurisdictions (England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales, as well as Belgium’s French, Flemish and German communities are each represented separately). This section contains information about each of the member countries.

European Agency Statistics on Inclusive Education: 2019/2020 School Year Dataset Cross-Country Report
This report focuses on the 2019/2020 school year dataset. It covers pre-primary, primary, lower-secondary and upper-secondary education.
UNESCO together with the Agency have developed an online resource and knowledge-base presenting information from across the globe on inclusive approaches to policy and practice, benefiting both policy-makers and practitioners.
In a departure from the Agency’s previous thematic activities, Country System Mapping (CSM) considers the whole education system. It examines how certain structures, mechanisms and processes may impact on the implementation of inclusive education policy in practice.
The goal of the Country Policy Review and Analysis (CPRA) work is to aid country reflection regarding the development of policy for inclusive education. It aims to act as a tool for stimulating discussion in the country concerned.
