Sign Language Rights for All – World Federation of the Deaf Congress in July 2019
The French National Federation of the Deaf will host some 3,000 international participants at the XVIII World Congress of the World Federation of the Deaf (WFD) in Paris, from 23–27 July 2019. The congress theme, Sign Language Rights for All, highlights that full enjoyment of linguistic rights is vital in facilitating the full inclusion of the Deaf Community within society.

UNESCO together with the Agency have developed an online resource and knowledge-base presenting information from across the globe on inclusive approaches to policy and practice, benefiting both policy-makers and practitioners.

Portugal is moving away from the rationale that it is necessary to categorize to intervene. The present decree-law provides a continuous and integrated approach to the school path of each student, assuring quality throughout all compulsory schooling.
The preceding Decree-Law has evolved since its origin in 2008, in accordance with Article 24 of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UNCRPD).
New EASIE 2016 Dataset Cross-Country Report Online
The EASIE 2016 Dataset Cross-Country Report has recently been published online. The report is based on the second EASIE dataset, focusing upon the 2014/2015 school year. This new report presents the analysis of the 2016 dataset collected via the European Agency Statistics on Inclusive Education (EASIE) activities and uses the country data available on the EASIE Data web area.

Scottish Improvement Hub Supports Resources for Children and Young People with Additional Support Needs
An online Improvement Hub, launched by Scottish national body Education Scotland, is working to improve inclusive education practices for children and young people with additional support needs across the country.
Earlier this year, Education Scotland also launched milestones to support learners with complex additional support needs. The guidance available to download via the hub provides a set of milestones for literacy, English, numeracy and mathematics, with sections to specifically support these learners.
European Agency Statistics on Inclusive Education: 2016 Dataset Cross-Country Report
This report focuses on the 2016 EASIE dataset. The data from participating countries is from the 2014/2015 school year and the dataset was processed from 2016 onwards.
‘Together! International Perspectives on Inclusive Education’ – Paris Conference 18–19 October 2018
The French Ministry of Education will host European and international inclusive education experts at a two-day conference on 18–19 October at the Cité des Sciences et de l’Industrie in Paris. Participants will be welcomed by the Minister of Education, Jean-Michel Blanquer. Cor J.W. Meijer, Agency Director, will present an inventory of European and international research into inclusive education.
