Inclusive Education in Higher Education

Peer Counselling Activity in Romania

The Romanian Ministry of National Education and Scientific Research, together with the European Commission, organised the Peer Counselling activity entitled 'Support services for children with SEN integrated into mainstream schools – an integrated approach'. This was a best practice exchange between specialists in Romania and six other EU member states.

Raising Awareness about Inclusive Education in Łajski, Poland

The public group of schools in the village of Łajski, Poland, is committed to inclusive education, and has been working with pupils with special educational needs and disabilities for 12 years. The school is taking an active part in the Agency’s Raising the Achievement of All Learners in Inclusive Education project.

Policies and Technology Supporting Inclusive Education

‘When all children, regardless of their differences, are educated together, everyone benefits,’ emphasised Mr Tibor Navracsics, Commissioner for Education, Culture, Youth and Sport. He was delivering the opening speech at the seminar on inclusive education for learners with disabilities, which took place in the European Parliament in Brussels on 16 November 2016.
